Pamela Toribio is a talented artist with a passion for textile design, born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Her artistic journey began during her high school years, where she immersed herself in various art groups, discovering her love for drawing and print-making.
In 2013, Pamela relocated to the vibrant city of San Francisco to pursue her dreams. She enrolled at the prestigious Academy of Art University, where she dedicated herself to honing her skills and knowledge in Fashion with a specialized focus on Textile Design.
Throughout her academic journey, she earned the recognition as a CFDA Scholarship Program Finalist, a testament to her artistic skills and dedication. Another remarkable achievement was her collaboration with Fashion Designer Claudia Tan for the esteemed Academy of Art Fashion Show in 2019, which earned them a featured spot in Nob Hill Gazette Magazine.
Since graduating, Pamela has delved into both the artistic and product development aspects of fashion. Her responsibilities have included managing projects from start to finish, encompassing technical drawings, material resourcing, and budgeting. With a keen eye for detail and creative flair, she effortlessly translates designs into practical blueprints.
Pamela’s expertise in sourcing quality materials while adhering to budget constraints has proven invaluable, making her a versatile and essential contributor to the fashion industry.
